Furi Kuri is the craziest and most energetic anime I've ever seen for sure. I enjoyed it a lot, even if i had no idea what the story really is about - i mean lots of things happen in it that can be called science-fictional, fantastic or just mad, but no one cares to explain why and how those things happen. They just do. And I bet poor Naota often wishes he would just wake up from this dream. But thank God he doesn't ^^
Now about the graphics... the lines are dinamic and loose but never too sloppy. The expressions are sometimes overdid which adds to the comical atmosphere. The music's awesome, mostly songs on electric guitar. The characters and the changes they go through are genuine - Naota's character grows a lot and Haruka kicks ass. Mamimi's being cute but sometimes freaky and you just gotta' love the housekeeper robot and the fat tom-cat. Naota's classmates can be a bit tiresome sometimes but still fun.
So why are the robots growing out of Naota's head and what's Haruko doing on this planet? Is this anime a crazy metaphor for love? Or is it about becoming an adult? Or is it just about fighting robots and aliens? You'll have to look for these answers yourself, but i guess you'll likely enjoy this show even without doing so. ;)
