I really like this show and the chemistry between the 2 leads makes the show really stand out. The story is good and I love the interactions between Misaki and Usui. Animation and music is good. The only downside is that it ends when they just get together and that's a disappointment because from what I hear the Manga goes on much further I just wished they extended the anime alot more so we could see how the relationship develops further. There is definitely room for a 2nd season it's just whether that happens or not remains to be seen.

Usui is definitely a unique male lead in romantic anime because he is completely devoted to one girl and he doesn't even get tempted when other girls hit on him or confess to him. He doesn't even react to it. He is just not interested in anyone but Misaki. There are not many anime guys like that. I guess that's what makes him so appealing to the female viewers including me. The only thing with his character is that it ends with him just as mysterious as he was at the beginning. There is hardly any backstory to his character and there is much more to him than the anime shows. There have been a few flashbacks showing Misaki as a child but none with Usui....it would have been interesting to see what he was like when he was younger. Anyway this anime is worth seeing if you are into romantic anime. I would regard this as one of the few very good romantic anime out there currently.
