Anyway all that aside lets get on with the review
Story 8
I think the story had a pretty good concept, it was unique in a sense that the anime basically had 2 stories, which split off between at episode 13. If this was like other anime series it would have ended at episode 13. Although the story concept was good, i think there wasn't enough development and it felt rushed at certain areas, but only given 22 episodes it will be hard to do it especially the way to portrayed the story with basically 2 seasons in 22 episodes. The ending to Guilty crown was disappointing, i wont spoil anything for you, The ending was what you would consider a "Bad end" if you were playing a game =P. In my honest opinion the ending was fine untill the last 2 mins of the episode...
Art 10
The art is absolutely amazing it is incredibly detailed, with each character design being kawaii =P. The effects, the movements, the explosions, everything was top notched and quite possibly have the best art in anime that year. The back ground at each scene was beautifully done, but i guess you could argue that every anime has good back ground. But Guilty crown does have one of the best character design I have ever seen. Even now 2-3 months since i've watched guilty crown i can still remember inori and shu's face/body clearly.
Music 10
Supercell did the music of Guilty Crown. nothing else needs to be said, it is basically absolutely amazing and fits the anime completely. With song lyrics actually matching the mood of the anime, not many anime's actually do this. The 2 opening that Supercell did are both great songs, that even after you watched the anime you will continue to find yourself listening to it on youtube or something =P.
Character 8
Many argue that Shu is a shit main character, that is just basically a emo pussy or something. But i personally think that Shu coupled with Inori's supporting personality creates a incredibly strong romance link between them, which provides several good romance scenes. But that said other characters aren't so great. A lot of characters such as Gai, Yahiro, Arisa, and many others tend to betray each other a lot and switch sides fairy quickly without much development. which is quite disappointing but this could have been due to lack of episodes they had? who knows. Although that said many of the "Shu supporting characters" were beautifully made, each acting as Shu's mental support and seeing what effects it had on Shu when they were taken away was quite entertaining/tear jerking.
Enjoyment 8
I enjoyed Guilty crown overall, although there was bits that really pissed me off, mainly the betrayals that occured due to the stupidest reasons, or the characters acting all retarded. But the best scenes were those with inori in =P especially the singing ones.
Overall 9
its an anime you should watch, you may hate it, you may love it. but if you dont compare it to code geass when watching it, you'll love it probably. The music in this anime is probably the best with very little other animes having music this great, although you may hate certain bits of the anime, (as do i) you will love it overall.
