If your a fan of slice of life like me, then Hanasaku Iroha is definitely an anime you should watch. Probably one of the best slice of life anime i have ever seen, with Drama that continues to stir up the story and making it more enjoyable overall.

The Story is nice heart warming story line with several tear jerking moments, it starts off with ohana chan moving to the country side due to family problems. How new life at the country side provides comedy and romance drama for viewers, it projects how difficult life really is.

The art itself is very beautiful with amazing back ground in certain episodes, each character is fairy detailed rather then the typical simply anime sketches.

Each Character is very unique and different from each other, which causes conflict between them for example the cheerful ohana agaist the Moody Tsundere type character Minko. The story focuses on the drama that arises from each character, and creates a nice story for each character quite often with drama focused on romance or hardship. although i'm not gonna lie, some parts really did piss me off due to Ohana cheerful and outgoing attitude she did things which you wouldn't do if you had common sense, and minko was that character that pissed you off because she was just to damn selfish. Nako was a great character providing comedy when needed and supporting each of the other characters. The adult side characters were basically there to provide comedy, except for Ohana's relatives which was actually part of the main drama story.

Overall i enjoyed this anime very much, it provided everything that a slice of life genre fan needed. WIth everything from Comedy, Tear jerking scenes/drama, actually showing everyday life Unlike many other slice of life that focuses on comedy, this anime actually focuses more on reality and shows how hard life actually is! This is definitely a must watch!
