The concept in itself is original but there is of course some cliche ideas tossed out that anyone could come up with off the top of there head. Yes a big running gag is the older looking brother is around any girl his actual age he ends up being hauled off to the cops but its still funny. Just cause the show has some predictability does not mean it is boring or stale. It is so compact and well paced that it is hard to get too much of it.
The Voice cast is wonderfully cast featuring some of the more popular voice actors of today. The Ending theme is also a sweet little melody i can enjoy as the show wraps up. I did take notice of some unusual sound effects that remind me more of cartoons than anime but i still thought they were enjoyable. The art itself is done very well with some pretty close attention to details in a few areas. On par or better to any full length anime series this series does not fall short on production or casting value.
The humor is mildy crude at tune bur is also fairly tame for the possible subject matter.The sister does not provide nearly as much humor as the brother with her air of maturity but she is adorable. This show was made with this balance in mind to give it this odd feel that really boosts the humor. The remaining cast is actually very humerus from the teachers,school mates and even the unemployed next door neighbor.
I think if you enjoy laughing or just jokes in general then you will love this show.
