I do not understand why people enjoy this animes storyline, the only reason to watch this is for the fight scenes, which, by the way, or some of the best out there (if you can forget about the total rubbish storyline). Just so you don't waste your time with 300+ episodes of the same crap, here's a spoiler version of what happens every story arc (including fillers) in this horribly easy to predict anime after about episode 35+ or so.
*New enemy appears!* "BANKAI!" Ichigo dies. *Orihime heals everyone* "Why didn't my Bankai work? Let's talk about it!" *Mini battles that will later have little or no relevance on the storyline* "It's the boss guy! BANKAI! (because that TOTALLY didn't not work last time or anything...)" *Ichigo wins, new story arc, cycle repeats*
I enjoy intricate story lines, with some action to keep me actual watching the show and not just listening to it. Bleach does not have this what-so-ever and I would only watch this for the fight scenes, but even then they're too long for my taste. I do not like this anime and I would not recommend it to anyone that likes storyline animes like Code Geass or TMoHS. The only person I would recommend this to, is someone who watches things just for the action.
