Planetes is for sci-fi lovers; those who dream of interplanetary travel and space exploration. The drawings and animation are absolutely superb at expressing the vast emptiness and beauty of various aspect of the Earth + universe.
This anime is greatly under-rated and was ahead of its time for it's quality in animation and accuracy to details.
