It doesn't have much of a story, but the characters talk about some really good and funny stories about their life experiences. The best story I heard in this show is about the parents of Konata.
The art, as what one can expect from Kyoto animation, is great! Everything looks nice and cute, and everything is animated well. They ran out of ideas on some things though and decided to recycle some stuff for some scene layouts.
The sounds are really good. The background suits every scene and the voices of the main cast are nice. The OP song is so good that people won't get tired of it even on the last episode. Also, the idea of having no ED was good. They just put on random, usually good stuff for the ED. Usually good because not all of the ED was interesting. Another sound problem is the use of a weird voice for some extra female characters. People will hear the same voice for those extras which is not good at all.
The character department is the best. Lucky Star has a wide variety of excellent characters. Everyone is so fun and so natural. A very outstanding cast.
This show is very enjoyable! Well the never ending conversations can be a little bit tiresome sometimes, but everything they talk about is interesting. It also has its really fun points like when they copy Initial D and when they visit Konata at her part time job. Many more can be seen and enjoyed in this show that's why it is considered one of the best.
