Story: 5
this is what fails the most for me. bakemonogatari is devided into 4 different archs, all about how the main character helps someone get rid of their oddity. i felt like dropping it after 4 episodes, but kept watching. there is one thing i did like though, there is romance between two main characters, and that's actually pretty funny. i ended up just skipping through the last 3 episoded to see those interactions, because they were sweet and funny. there are also some other good parts, and you will start laughing. but the rest was really boring for me. it certainly takes a certain kind of person to like this. a good example for this is ef-a tale of memories, it's the same slow story. bakemonogatari has a lot of hidden meaning like FLCL too, but while FLCL was fast in it's story, this is really slow, and takes for ever to get anywhere.

the art is decent, i'm not very picky about art. the animations are smooth.
Sound: 7
Sound isn't that bad either, one tune actualy sounds a bit like Take 5 and i enjoyed that.
Character: 9
this has to do with the two main characters and their romance mostly. the're both funny, and it gets pretty sweet in the end. the rest of the cast was enjoyable, but again i had to keep myself from falling asleep because of the story.
Enjoyment: 6
this only gets a 6 because of certain parts, the enjoyment without that would be 0.
Overall: 7
this is not enjoyable for anybody, either you like this type of anime or not.
