So basically, this anime is about a little girl at the age of 6 who visits her Uncle's house. She gets lost in a forest and befriends a spirit.
Hotarubi no Mori e is a truly outstanding anime. For me, any anime that controls my emotions is a good anime, and that is mostly why I enjoyed it, but also the story was brilliant. It really got you attached to the characters and keeps you absorbed all the way through. I have watched this movie twice all the way through now, and I cried just as much as I did the first time.
I cannot ever hesitate to say that this is one of my favorite movies, as the story is great, the art is great, the music is great and the character development is great. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
