The characters for me started out good. Baby Beel is super funny and cute - and you can kinda see him mature over the course of the series. Oga was charming and interesting, but i feel that they could have done a better job at developing his powers more and evolving him into a better main character. The same could be said with Hilda and Aoi. Not much progression in their characters as well.
The story was good -- up until the last 5 or so episodes i would say. Looks like they sped up to end the anime and just let go of the story and didn't care how it ended. Sad. Very sad.
Enjoyment overall to be fair is a 7 for me. Slowly declining on the last few episodes. I wouldn't say that it was a waste of time - its just that the ending completely ruins it for me.
Oh well - they say the manga is loads better so i better start reading.
