One of the only anime that really hit me hard emotionally. So I feel obligated to write a review on how much I enjoyed it.

Story: When I first heard about this anime, I believed it to be a cliched story where the protagonist falls in love with girl, then girl turns out to be evil. Well to be honest, I'm an idiot for thinking that. The story line of Angel Beats is outstanding, the emotional attachment you get from watching the characters fight against God for giving them their horrible lives. It's probably the best anime to make you feel compassion to the characters.

Art: To be completely honest, I have seen anime with better art than Angel Beats, but those anime are very few in number.

Sound: The opening music and the closing music are probably one of the few anime openers that I could sit through with pleasure.

Character: This is the section that really got me into this show. The attachment I had to Masami Iwaswa was greater than any I had ever felt to a character in an anime. How her dream of singing was crushed when she became mute, and why she cursed God because of it. And this is just one character out of the 20 or so that has this kind of experience. All the characters in this anime are there because they curse God for giving them a horrible life.

Enjoyment: 10/10 Just amazing. You come away from this anime feeling like crying because of how emotionally attach you become to the main character. When you see the struggles he grows through you can't help but cheer him on.

Overall: A must watch anime. I cannot fathom how people can say this anime isn't worth the 57th spot. Just a masterpiece.
