This anime is good but don't be fulled. I thought i was going to watch more kids get killed and see gore every episode, but Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai makes you learn MORE about the story than in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Cute little Rika is the main character in this one, she tries her best to change the future, but can the future really change? can rika actually get everyone to believe her? can she get everyone on her side and tell them what is going to happen before it happens? you'll know once you watch this season.


Story 10/10- I like the story more than Higurashi no Naku Koro ni just because Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai gets into MORE detail about whats going on in the village, yes Higurashi no Naku Koro ni did say whats going on, but i feel like this would actually be the first season if the 2ed season didnt have spoliers from the first season (hopefully that made sense)

Art 9/10- Same art as Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

Sound 9/10- same as Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

character 10/10- the characters in this season really shows how far someone can go for friendship and how an outcome can either change for good or bad but which one is it?? =)

enjoyment 8/10- I know i wrote good things about it, why is it at the 8, i went in thinking it was a blood fest like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

Overall- 8/10- This was really good and this will be the last Higurashi i might watch, not because its bad, i just perfer to watch rated 17+ animes and every Higurashi after this its rated PG 13+. but this anime is still very good and it way more detail than the first, after seeing Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai it made me re-download Higurashi no Naku Koro ni because i feel like i missed out on important things about the story.
