There are a lot of mixed views and reactions on Guilty Crown, everyone says it’s almost exactly like Code Geass. I loved CG and GC, both may have similarities but they aren’t 100% the same and both shows has it’s interesting scenes and so on. I mean every story out there has got to come from somewhere, right?
It’s one of those anime’s were you just have to try and watch- at least the first half of it. Everyone does have there own tastes on things and that includes anime.

The story isn’t the best as there were many un-answered questions and odd twists here and there.
But it had a slight interesting factor to it somehow, I’m a big Sci-Fi / Super Power / Action fan and can take all the weirdness and confusion in. However the story could have been done better.

Everyone seems to love the music in Guilty Crown and I must say the song choice in the openings, endings and in the episodes were superb. When I first watched the first episode I was hooked with the music in it,

Amazing, just amazing the animation, the flow, the colour, the design.. Amazing!
Just by the pictures and trailer before watching the anime you could tell the art was going to be great.

There characters aren’t all too bad, but this again comes down to the viewers POV, I enjoyed most of the characters including the main characters, personaly there was only one character I did not care for..
Later in the series most of the characters change and there characteristics somewhat grows, and I just love when that happens it keeps things interesting.
All the characters were rushed and appeared to quickly and would be pretty hard to grasp most of them, again if GC had more episodes and they could have introduced there characters better.

This would be a 10 for me if the story would have been better, Guilty Crown does have some good qualities, maybe if this anime had more episodes to space out it’s story more it could have answered things better, although the story differs slightly and the odd “Huh?“ moments Guilty Crown did have some amazing action scenes and were enjoyable to watch.
Guilty Crown might not be for everyone but it is always nice to give something a try, if you like Sci-Fi or action/super power shows then who knows you might like it.
