Usagi Drop is a very good anime and i very much enjoyed it which surprised me as it is not the sort of anime i normally like. However after the first episode i found myself looking forward to the next episode then the one after than, and the one after that etc. This is a story that anyone would like it is nothing more than a tale of a kind man who sacrifices for a child yet by the end he doesn't view it as a sacrifice

Story 9
The story was well written and focused on the main characters interaction with each other and development of the characters as well as a slight romance towards the end (which i found heart warming). The story takes place over the course of about a year and touched an many real life subjects ie abandoning a child, adopting a child and learning to raise a child. The whole story was nicely told and and the ending left me feeling all warm and happy which is rear in most of the anime normaly watch

Art 10
The art in this anime was unique all, the background art was hand drawn and while it was not a graphical impressive as other anime series i have watched however the hand drawn aspect really help the story in this case giving it a more of a personal feel as if the world around the characters was created just for them (which it was). The Art was beautiful and well drawn

Sound 9
The music was soft and heart felt giving an emotional feel to the series. both opening and ending themes suited the anime perfectly

character 9
The characters were very good Daikichi and Rin's relationship develop well over the year the story spans they become closer and develop a bigbrother/father relationship and how they over come the obsticals of life together.

enjoyment 9
i thoroughly enjoyed the series from start to finish

overall 9
over all i give the series a 9 and it would have been 10 had the romance of the series progress a bit further between Dikichi and Yukari other than that the series was great
