Story.
So what's better? Well for one the story line is a lot more coherent and serious. Yes there are some silly moments, but the story line does progress mostly every episode and it does it rather quickly which is kind of a downer since it seemed like there was more to it than it seemed. Though it's not their fault. Harem animes like this one (where they go full nude) tend to get less opportunities for 13+ episodes and the only one that does come to mind that has gone more than that is Seikon No Quasar which I thought was ok. If you were to compare the story line progression with another anime like R-15 or Maken-Ki, I'd say this anime trumps them both significantly. Still since it's sort of rushed, it does have a few plot holes (though not on the level of Guilty Crown which is full of them). So I give it a 7.
Art
Art is decent. The action scenes are pretty good. The girls are attractive and it does show blood which is surprising since some harem animes tend to leave that kind of stuff out. I give it a solid 7.
Sound
Not particularly great. It's your typical jpop stuff, though some of the background music is pretty such as when they show the "president" they play a violin melody, adds a nice taste. I give it a 6.
Characters
The characters are actually a lot more interesting except that not all of them get an in depth look. The only ones that do are Asia, Issei and Rias, who are pretty much the main leads. Still this a harem anime so character development isn't much of a big deal, but it was a nice addition to the boobs and a** they show on a regular basis. Still the characters are likeable which is a good thing. Though Issei is a pervert, he's not a bad guy as he proved when he saved Asia and Rias. I give them a 7.
Overall
I enjoyed this anime. It wasn't stupid like R-15. It didn't suffer from crappy characters and story like Maken-Ki. It was actually pretty decent which is kind of rare in a harem anime of this type. Yes there are a few plot holes and the end is pretty open ended which leaves hope for consecutive seasons. Overall I give this anime a 7, which is pretty good in my opinion since many harem animes don't usually get this much attention in character and story development. Still if you don't like boobs or nudity or perverted stuff, I wouldn't recommend it. You probably won't like it, but if you don't mind that stuff, you should definitely watch this. It's a lot better than some of the other harem stuff that has come out the previous seasons.
