It's an entire season wasted on some unfulfilled romance between some of the characters and the protagonist. It maybe got a little interesting at some point, but the thing should have ended in like 3-4 episodes and not have an entire season about it...
Close to the finale they are basically fighting to the death for no real reason... Everything could have been settle just by saying "No" and directly talking to those involved.
There is basically 0 story progression and nothing about the dungeon. Animation quality is good and there are a lot of nice fighting scenes, but since the reason they fight is pointless, they become less enjoyable.
