First things first, I deserve a medal for sticking with this show for 50 episodes, I almost gave up twice. On the surface, it’s a decent premise but in execution, massively flawed largely due to the writing. There’s a lot of unnecessary and frankly baggy drama in this including random love triangles/polygons, random delinquent behavior and the main characters being unable to win a basketball game. And then there is literally episodes where the punches to the gut just do not stop coming. What was ultimately the final nail in the coffin was that the main female character became untrustworthy; after the death of her idol/friend’s mom/person she barely knew, she started to unravel and started acting out which culminates in her not supporting her friends when they need her most and instead goes out on a date with a playboy type guy where it’s left ambiguous as to whether she slept with him or not. Ultimately, this is a basketball drama where the drama overshadows everything else
