To start, it's Chinese, so for people who hate listening to it, don't even bother starting this one. The art style was nice, but there are times when the fps is visibly choppy. We're talking 6 fps. The sound effects aren't very good either, and it was much easier to actually just mute the show and read along than trying to listen to the actor's failed attempts to portray emotion.
I dropped it halfway through because I could tell our characters weren't ever going to grow or learn much and that the big pull of this show was just going to be some fight scenes and our plucky main character showing off.
Is it bad? No, but with so many better options out there, it really isn't worth the time to slog through the predictable and underwhelming world that is Another Journey to the West.
