Every episodes of the sequel so far has been very unusually funny, from teasing fan-service to word play (of course), plus supernatural, that is what this show is about. Offering the audience the most unusual humor from all other animes is what makes this anime stands out. Just like the word 'Courage' throw that in a sentence it will make anything sound righteous, "Have the courage to waste my time to write a review" (an example by me, try to understand the meaning of courage behind it that make me sound righteous, and sarcasm. lol, but please do not take it offensive. ). Hopefully that gives you a vague idea of where the show is going, every characters (8 girls so far, exclude the boy) have their own way of sarcasm.
Art-9
Unique art style from SHAFT in this anime. The art is also what back up the weird jokes or abnormal conversations, because is related to the meaning of the conversation. Amazing art is what will capture the viewers attention, and if the art is not the taste for you, it work wonderful with everything else.( I love the art)
Sound- 9
The 3 OP's is great one is Senjōgahara, one is Karen, and now the latest Tsukihi, each sounded awesome. Now the background music is ... I don't know how to describe it, but it has the power to warp you into the mood of the scene, the music is great.
Character- 9
A lot is going on with the characters or a lots, you will never get tired of the sarcasm of different characters, from elementary school kid Hachikuji Mayoi (my fav char, and hint 'Courage' is her quote), to the tsundere girlfriend Senjōgahara Hitagi, to the fetish underclassman Kanbaru Suruga, to the "Koyomi oniichan" Sengoku Nadeko, to the class rep of the class rep Hanekawa Tsubasa, to the proud justice itself (that's right not the ally of justice) Araragi Karen and Araragi Tsukihi, and finally to the Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade (that's her name) loli vampire Shinobu (in fact she is 500 years old but took the child form).
Enjoyment- 10
Definitely a prefect 10, it started off strong in Bakemonogatari with the art, the jokes, and now Nisemonogatari carried the tradition and improve it in those aspect. For myself i have love the show more and more as each episode goes by, plus the light novel as i have finished all, and waiting for the final three novels this year.
Overall- 10
The Bakemonogatari series (all not one) is a great piece of work, one should not skip out on, because of what so ever reason, and is like trying to picking a red jelly bean out of the 100 green jelly beans (which one stands out). Well since this is my first review i hope you guys don't criticize too much since I need to "Have the courage to write a review".
