I loved the vibe of this series with a slow pace and the fantasy elements of the story characters are built effectively from the interactions between them and the people around them and how they interact with their environment. Boji, the main character, is amazing it is refreshing to see a disabled character who gradually develops and was always strong and capable even though others had been cruel to him building onto the underdog story. I think I appreciate this more as I myself am partially deaf and have other conditions that make the world difficult to interact with having also experienced how people underestimate your abilities because of this. Suffice to say I connected to Boji a lot though while I appreciate his constant positive attitude I do wish he would get angry sometimes but that isn't a big problem. Also it is shown that he can use sign language and lip read to know what people are saying but I think this was forgotten at some points because there were scenes where I noticed that characters were talking to him and he was not looking at them and was we were then shown a cut to where he shows e understands and the characters that could use sign language would rather speak than use it.
The animation is also unique, and the fight scenes are expertly done with effectively communicating motion and action.
However, some parts of the plot are confusing in particular what is going on with King Boss but this might just be me I was happy that a lot of it focused on Boji's journey with this being one reason why it's not 10/10 even though I enjoyed this series.
I would recommend if you like slow-paced fantasies with an underdog main character.
