Pretty solid, worth watching if you just want a braindead show that's easy to get into. The fights are phenomenal, though unfortunately it was VERY lacking story-wise. I cannot tell you just how many unanswered questions I had literally every single episode, and the pacing felt way too rushed. Normally pacing isn't a huge deal to me, but they genuinely didn't explain ANYTHING, and they just completely skipped right past so many scenes or interactions I wanted to see. 12 episodes later and I still have no clue about some of the core concepts that should've been explained or hinted at in episode 1. For example, they don't even explain the magic system AT ALL, nor how Will met his closest friends or why they care about him at all.
If we go by story alone, it's a bit of a dumpster fire. Although the hype moments can make up for it for me, I'll admit it never really felt like anyone was in danger. This should've had more episodes to cover this much story to be honest.

Characters - 2/10 (All pretty generic, some likeable some dislikeable, but 0 interesting characters.)
Animation/fights - 8/10
Would watch a season 2.
