A unique yet somewhat ordinary anime.
Story: 7/10
It’s fresh and charming. I haven’t seen the second season yet, so I’m not familiar with the deeper world-building, but the story presented in the first season was quite exciting, with a solid foundation in its setting.
Music: 5/10
There aren't any standout tracks that really stick with you. The ending theme is quite good, but the background music feels clichéd and average.
Characters: 6/10
Yato is mischievous but can be quite intimidating when serious. Iki Hiyori comes across as too much of a sweet, one-dimensional character. In contrast, Yukine effectively embodies the theme of "inferiority complex."
Voice Acting: 10/10
This gets a solid 10. The voice actors brought life to Yukine’s darker moments, and I truly got chills. Yato’s mischievous voice is also a perfect fit.
Animation: 8/10
The studio delivers! There are hardly any issues with the art quality, maintaining a consistent and beautiful style throughout the show.
The smooth pacing and solid direction make this anime highly recommendable.
In conclusion, I recommend this anime.
