I saw this almost exactly 9 years ago, and if I remember right, I found it BECAUSE it was the lowest rated thing on the site at the time. YouTube randomly recommended one of Takena's recent animations, Midnight Vampire (highly recommend btw), to me the other day and I went through their other uploads to be pleasantly surprised by coming across Shitcom again. I honestly had no idea that the funny 60 second long poop claymation I watched 9 years ago was made by the same person.

Yes yes, poop is gross, pretty polarizing. If you have an ounce of media literacy, though, you'll realize this is actually an allegory about loving someone in spite of their baggage. I like the message and it's well-executed. Even if I rated it 10/10 as a joke 9 years ago, it is a genuine work of art. And I highly recommend checking out Takena's YouTube channel (@takena) in general. They don't upload often, but when they do, they never miss.

Ironically, Shitcom is one of Takena's tamer works. I haven't seen any other depictions of scat, but the gore goes hard.
