I was a bit skeptical going into this season, but oh man, it delivered.
First off, let's talk about Masamune and Aki's relationship. I was shipping them hard in Season 1, but this season took it to a whole new level. Their interactions were so tender and sweet, I couldn't help but squeal with delight. And that confession scene? _swoon_
But what really impressed me was the character development. Masamune finally learns to let go of his revenge obsession and focus on his own growth. And Aki... oh man, Aki's backstory had me tearing up. I never thought I'd feel so much empathy for the ice queen, but this season made me understand her so much better.
The supporting cast was also on point. Yoshino and Neko's friendship goals are everything, and I loved how they supported Masamune through thick and thin. And that new character, Chinatsu? She was a great addition to the cast!
The animation was also top-notch. The colors were more vibrant than ever, and the character designs were so expressive.
What really made this season stand out for me was the way it balanced humor and heart. There were moments when I was laughing out loud, and others when I felt my heart strings being pulled.
Overall, I'd give Masamune-kun's Revenge Season 2 - 8/10. It's a must-watch for anyone who loves rom-coms, and I'm so sad it's over. Can we get a spin-off or something?!
P.S. That ending though... I need more Masamune and Aki in my life!
