A zombie disease breaks out in the whole world, and some highschool students band together as a team in order to survive. This team consists of 6 students (4 female and 2 male) and the school nurse.
Highschool of the Dead shows a lot of breasts and ass. Almost too much (almost). Really, it's show on almost every opportunity it can get. But this isn't all what HOTD is about. There is some good action in this too.

Story: There's not much of a story. They try to survive the zombie outbreak together. You get to see some boobs while they try to survive the situation they are in. They get to one of the female character's house and stay there for a while. Then they are forced to leave again. And then they go looking for someone else. Then it ends.
I think that HOTD could, and should, have had anohter 5-10 episodes. It skips quite a bit between the episodes.

Art: The art is very good. Very well animated. The action scenes and everything are well done. No complaints.

Sound: The music is okay, the zombies sound real enough, everything is good.

Characters: The main characters consists of a school nurse, a pink haired girl who's ego is big, a girl with some swordsmanship skills, a girl that feels sorry for herself or whatever, a nerd that turns into a killing machine once the zombies arrive, and a male leader. All of these characters are likeable, which is good. But really, there's nothing really special about them. Characters really are underdeveloped. Which brings me back to this, the anime is too short.

Enjoyment: It was interesting to watch these characters running through town, beating the shit out of these zombies. Maybe a plot twist and more episodes/better ending could have made this even better.

Overall, I think this was a good quick watch. Too many boobs. Good action. Underdeveloped characters. Very good animation.

Yeah, check it out if you like action/ecchi anime.
