This is show is a BLAST. I can't understate how much I enjoyed this show - the characters, the fights (oh my god, the fights)! It's just fun, fun, fun! Looking back on the early episodes, even in comparison to the greatness that is the Shibuya Incident of Season 2, they're just incredible! There's not a time where I genuinely felt bored watching this show.

The story follows a fairly generic structure, similar to most exorcist series such as Bleach, about a teenage boy exorcising monsters, which in JJK's case are called 'cursed spirits'. I don't think there is anything wrong with this story structure, as a lot of series can pull this of brilliantly.

JJK's art style is really fitting for the dark undertones of the series in my opinion. It's enjoyable, the plot is solid, the characters are brilliant and it's just straight GOOD! The first season is on Netflix now if you don't have Crunchyroll, so it's the perfect time to watch it. Give it a try (if you want) 🫵

TL:DR - It's fun, 9/10
