Preliminary (98/? chp)
I presently have a little problem called ‘Help, I've already read all the longer manga and now I can't find anything that entertains me for more than 2 hours’ - at least that's what an isekai manga centred around my situation would be called. Fortunately, ‘Standard Of Reincarnation’ has a rather short name. In any case, I was very happy to rediscover it by chance.

A boy is born with one arm and is therefore cast out as a good-for-nothing - but he doesn't give up and manages to beat the brutal, hated sword master of the main family in the end! But instead of being praised and celebrated, the master stabs him in the back and throws him in a dungeon. But Dawyen wakes up hundreds of years later, only to realise that the story has been completely misrepresented and he is now known as a totally evil demon!

The story is rather generic - revenge manga are a dime a dozen. Taking revenge on the family that dragged his name through the mud is certainly high on Dawyen's to-do list, but that doesn't make this manhwa so good.
Instead, I enjoyed a lot of little things, but above all the colourful mixture of often exaggerated, lovable characters. You won't see anything groundbreaking here, but the mere fact that Dawyen has a god buddy who always gives him advice warms the heart. Aside from that, Dawyen is just an interesting character to watch, using his knowledge and so often not just talking with muscle, but using intrigue and diplomacy to try and make the battles work in his favour before they even start.

Apart from that, what we have here is a very mediocre work, but one that can definitely entertain.
