Pretty crucial watch for gore lovers b/c it kinda popped off when it first came out! It's a decent anime but the plot and general ability to follow what is happening gets a little confusing because of the whole "fitting a 10+ hour video game into four 25 minute episodes" thing, I can't totally blame that on them though they work with what they got. I think sometimes the gore gets so excessive that it takes you out of it a little, like it's so much that it's like wut is going on even. There's a lot of harm done to children so if that's something that really upsets you, I would avoid this one. There's also so much unnecessary panty shots of teenage girls, but at least there's no SA other than a random boob groping in the beginning. Morishige is a little nasty freak which was fun to watch, and the ending was absolutely grim which I enjoyed. Opening song goes crazy hard.
