- asuna is a normie stacie from an elite family who gets pretty good grades, but her (female) classmate and friend, Misumi, is better at school and video games. she gets her into SAO.
- system announcement: if you die in the game, you also die irl. hundreds of newbs go out fighting monsters and dying, giving the viewer a sense of the stakes.
- Misumi and asuna kill some wasps and get stronger and explain the game mechanics to casual viewers.
- Misumi and asuna farm monster-plants. "asuna, dont attack the special one wich calls dangerously many allied monsters when damaged". she attacks it. they end up seperated. when asunas health becomes very low, Misumi leaves the party so she doesnt have to witness her death. asuna almost dies, but kirito saves her. then tells her where the nearest town is and leaves.
- Misumi and asuna do not use the friend system to message things like 'are you alive?' 'Im alive' 'where are you?' 'did you get the item we came for?' and instead blame each other and never return to their shared room at the inn.
- asuna almost dies while solo grinding a dungeon, but kirito saves her. they go to kiritos place and spend some time talking about nothing and blushing at each other, before attending the raid for the floor 1 boss.
- during the boss fight asuna takes off her cloak and Misumi who is also there goes 'wow youre alive I missed you, btw take this rare sword'
- in phase 2 the boss uses an unexpected attack, wich wasnt in the beta test, dealing aoe dmg and paralyzing people in melee range. then follows it up with a combo attack onto their tank.. who has no cc break, defensive cooldwns, or useful items. their raid also has no offtank or healers, so he just dies to this.
- kirito, asuna and Misumi, using respectively a sword, rapier and scythe, 'switch' attack the boss and just dodge its attacks, while the rest of the raid does nothing
- after the fight some players accuse kirito of killing the tank by not sharing info about that unexpected attack. he equips a trenchcoat and tells them that he knew about it because hes gone further than anyone during beta testing and also that he'll open floor 2 right now and not to come with him, because theyre all plebs who'd die immedietly.
- asuna follows him but not Misumi or anyone else. an intelligent NPC(?) recognizes them as 'the top two players' (the end)
art & animation: its ok, mostly carried by their rendering engine beeing decent at light effects.
