pretty cookie cutter. the death of his family was pretty decently done but the death of that cop felt pretty shite as they hadnt really built up any real emotional connection to him, even if there was an attempt. animation is amazing in the first few episodes but quickly takes a turn for the worse, likely to get people invested in the show so they will keep watching no matter what and then just cheap out on animation from there on out. not the worst slop ive seen but its kinda like watching that dude try to climb the fence for like 20 different jump cuts but its not funny.

reminder that the show looked very promising up until around episode 4 (?), so any preliminary review up to that episode count is likely more positive than it would've been if it was made after the fact.
