I could not recommend this movie any more. Man do I think this movie is good, but just to be clear, this is not your typical romance storyline. In my opinion, I would put it more under the drama genre vs romance. I know there are hints of romance here, but nothing that truly blossomed and came into fruition. However on the drama side I thought this had a fantastic plot that was beautifully displayed and executed. This was a very dramatic movie that took you on a ride with concepts of bullying, self-harm, redemption, and forgiveness. Definitely a masterpiece. For a drama, definitely a high score, the only reason why I didn’t give it a higher rating is because I wish I would have seen the love storing fruition a bit more. Spice level, none.
