Deeper than what you would expect. I like my romance movies so of course this one came on the list for me to watch. My honest thoughts is I have a love hate relationship with this movie, but not in the way you might think. The movie was actually very good. The plot was very interesting and enjoyable but in a way, difficult because you can feel something sad is coming. Even though this movie at times is hard because it does a great job at looping you in, it is still well-done and beautiful. I think the part that makes it the hardest is the fact that is is realistic, that things like this do happen in real life. For me, when I watch anime, I watch it because I want to be taken out of reality, but this movie has you look it in the face. Honestly this movie just breaks you but the voice acting in it and the plot build up to it is sooooo good. The reason its not ranked higher is because I like happy endings, and unfortunately, I didn’t find it here. The movie was about the journey, not the destination.
