Where do I begin…I was actually excited for this one because for a reason Imost yaoi that gets adapted are bad somehow the studios choose the worst option possible. They have very problematic age gaps, strange relationships,power imbalances are grape/sa. So when a healthy looking Yaoi start to airing I’m excited. Sadly it didn’t work as I want in this one. Btw it’s a healthy there is no problem surrounding it. I just didn’t like the couple.
So what is my problem? It’s the chemistry. I didn’t feel it and because it’s a romance anime it’s the most important think for me. There were moments when I was happy for them and find cute but overall I just don’t feel it.
Adachi is a 30 years old man who is working in a company he’s not the best looking or most interesting person according to him and he’s not lucky about relationships at all. On other hand we have Kurosawa a literal dream. Perfect at everything. Handsome, tall etc. So it’s an opposite attract couple. I think the main problem for me was lack of the communication even with mind reading somehow and in some point I was really not sure if Adachi has feelings for Kurosawa or he just love being loved and the anime didn’t give me enough think for a good amount of time to erase my thought. Which is become a problem for me now. There were situations which can be solved a lot of easier which I didn’t understand why even were problem or in opposite things that can talk and shown more for me. In overall I find them cute but not enough.
This anime has a second couple too. Tsuga who is best friend of Adachi from university and Minato a courier who brings cargo to Tsuga’s house. This couple has an age gap but because both of them adult and I don’t care for me it’s not a problem . If I’m not wrong it’s 22 - 30. I like their relationship more mostly we see Tsuga struggling with he’s feelings and how he want to tell Minato about them but scared. But I like how it process and where it ends (expect of one very stupid misunderstanding) very cute couple love them love the characters.
Overall as a Anime even if I didn’t enjoy it too much I still think you should give a try and I really believe that most people gonna like it just not me.
Let’s now talk about animation thats was definitely something…… there were moments were a main characters supposedly on screen but especially on the lest episodes I just start to think who tf is this where is main character. What happened to him. Give him back please that’s not him that’s a different man. Its definitely get worse to the end sadly.
