Story and plot 10/10
Monsters unique plot and story makes it stand tall among all the other anime that exist. It revolves around a plot that I haven't seen before. It story also contains a lot of unpredictability, which makes it even more enjoyable, and you start looking forward the next episode.
Characters 10/10
The main character is also very unique and has depth unlike a lot of other protagonists. Dr. Tenma has a solid motivation and basis for his actions and seems very relatable in his way of thinking. The main antagonist of the show is where it stands out tho. Johan (the antagonist) is extremely mysterious and leaves an impact of the viewer. His character also has a lot of depth and charme around him, which makes the viewer very interested in his motives and his way of thinking. Overall the characters aren't thin, and makes the viewer root for them, because they are written out well, and don't seem soulless.

I have a pretty hard time putting it to words how great this show is because of how GREAT it is. If you haven't seen this show yet I recommend you watch it ASAP you won't regret it.
