This seems to be an unnoficial slice of life spin off of Shinseiki Evangelion. Ten times shittier than the original. Jokes aside, this is one of my least favorite works of all time. As someone who likes to read manga and novels to self-insert, fantasize and find characters to relate to, I found this cancerous piece of garbage to be boring and bad. Everything that can go wrong goes wrong and everyone save for Seki was a massive unlikeable piece of human garbage. Asano Inio can't write to save his life and I reccomend everyone to read Mikakan no Koufuku, Ever17 and Hyouka as it resembles somewhat the gloomy atmosphere and nihilistic characters only, obviously, with the addition of colorful people and meaningful interactions. It baffles me how many people love this manga. It's probably the atheist pandering and the faux symbolism. I for one found this manga to be insulting, poor and very underwhelming. To be honest it doesn't have one good scene, one highlight or simply anything good. It's just misery porn, honestly. Onodera is more unlikeable than Shinji Ikari, Eren Yeager and Asada Shino (elitists' no.1 emo depressed waifu). His actions on the last arc made me hate him even more, what kind of human being does that to the person he "loves". Please save your soul form thie garbage and don't listen to fanboys that say it'll help your depression phase. It's just baiting created in order to get you to read their horrid favorite trashy tragedy.
