I think we can skip over the paragraphs of text I usually put in and focus in on the tagged theme "Parody". I have no idea if the original creator purposefully made this shitty to parody the other shows they view as absurd, or it is just a shitty show/manga. There is a lot we can unpack and digest but it doesn't deserve that, so Ill summarize quickly. The story isn't half bad if you're just there for entertainment, but it also constantly stops to fill you in on the tons of information we miss off screen. This includes powers, plans, traps...etc. The art is simply muddy and not at all interesting. Whether its a fight scene or one of the numerous ecchi scenes we are treated to less than pleasant art and animation. The characters again are somewhat interesting, or they could be if anything was done with them. Touka and Yuna are the only ones with any growth at all and its pathetic. It's one of the first shows I ever thought to turn on 1.5 speed for and I think it was the right thing to do.
Pathetic is actually a great word for this show in general. Some of you may wish to analyze whether or not this show is an actual pile of crap, or if its just a convincing replica, I however don't care. I knew this show wasn't going to be a masterpiece and I simply wanted to be entertained and it did alright in that regard. If your looking for anything remotely resembling quality I wouldn't in good conscience recommend this to you, however if your self aware enough not to take yourself seriously and know that this is your kind of thing you might get a laugh or two. I'm not sure I would want to watch it again, but I would watch a season two, which they do hint at. This show is premium "It sucks, but I liked it". This was not "so bad it was good", you need to be aware of the difference. This show is bad, and for some reason I had a good time, you may not.
