The only barrier of entry is the first episode, it is significantly more messed up than anything else you're going to see in the series. There will be SA, as well youngling-goblin bludgeoning. But after that point, it's an absolutely stellar watch! It has great writing, some very creatively animated combat sequences, and a legitimately great main character (a one track-minded edgelord to the point of hilarity and yet simultaneously a badass), and a wealth of unique side characters that you'll grow to love the more you watch. Even if you're not a fan of fantasy as a genre (I would fall in that category), you'll be hooked!
