BNA (Anime) add (All reviews)

Mixed Feelings
First off, lets get the elephant in the room out of the way. Each episode can be its own season almost, espescially the baseball league episode. For those who are not accustomed to Studio Trigger, their story pacing is probably the worst out of the anime studios, but their art style is one of the best. Their story telling once you get accustomed to it is alright and downright good, but they need to stop trying to fit four to five seasons into 12 episodes. BNA is one of those victims sadly, its best to rewatch it a few times before putting a solid opinion on it.

Personally, I say its a good watch if you seen Little Witch Academia and got to used to how Studio Trigger does their shows and how they use words to describe objects or things like Beastmanitus , or in Little Witch Academia, "The Shiny Rod". Majority of the characters are likable to a fault and want to cheer them on or root against them if they being antagonistic. The art style is a Studio Trigger classic all the way. The flat colors they use in BNA is outstanding and fits the aesthetics to a tea.

Now like I said at the beginning , their is probably 120 episodes squeezed tightly into 12 episodes probably to fit budget constraints. I will fault Studio Trigger on their story pacing, Netflix will gladly fund a lot of seasons to continue it. For now we are forever spoiled as Netflix hasn't confirmed or denied a production of a new season.
