Characters and backgrounds were given a surprising amount of detail to their designs.
The animation felt stiff and lacked motion.
None of the music tracks used in the show were particularly impressive nor offensive. Maya's theme sounds more like a rift of a few notes than an actual track.
The overall story line was very repetitive in the first couple of episodes where you could entirely predict the next episode. Things did get better towards the end of the show. Otherwise single dimensional characters who only want one thing in a playground of a world. No character development, overall conflict, and minimal entertainment from jokes and 'plot.'
