There is no big trigger warnings, ML does deal with mental exhaustion and a bit of depression due to the scars on his face which we don't really get to see exactly what happened, just that he got them and had to change careers because of them. That isn't the main focus of the story and we only see the depression- in a flashback. This focuses on the ML being accepted by someone for the first time and coming to terms with gaining confidence after getting the scars on his face. It also focuses on their love story of how they met and fell in love.
The plot summary makes it seem like it will be a heart wrenching love triangle but thankfully the person who comes from his past isn't an ex. Don't want to spoil who it is but don't worry about bad love triangles. There is a small one sided crush which can categorize it as a love triangle but it isn't annoying or much and it gets resolved pretty, thankfully there isn't bad drama or some stalker red flag ex that traumatized the ML.
There is consent, plenty of it. It's a cute love making scene & it has BEAUTIFUL ART!!! The ML is so pretty and it has a happy ending so definitely something I recommend when you want to read a happy BL love story!!
Only thing that makes it a 9 instead of a 10 is that we don't get to see them dating and a time skip with them living together happy would have been nice, but it is close to being a 10.
