Imma keep this review short and concise.
This anime would be what you expected from a slice of life, a slow-paced, non-heavy-plot driven story which is quite chill and relaxing. One word that I'd like to use to describe it is 'realism'. From the delicate art and visual that can definitely be on par with top anime films, which really took me by surprised that this was released 12 years ago; to the storytelling, characters' development, their monologue... they all seems to be quite 'real life'.
I'm still only 2/3 way through the show as I'm writing this, so I'm looking forward how Ohana and the girl in the kitchen's love triangle would unfold in the end.
All in all, this is a slice-of-life that isn't a typical school life filled with cliches like a bunch of other shows in the same genre. Huge props for the stunning art visual!
