Really, if you want to know more about the Rune Angel Troupe you're much better off just learning about the games and the mangas. Rune isn't a good anime, and feels like it just has "Galaxy Angel" in the title for any hope of returning fans supporting it.
The two segments per episode format is gone, the animation outside of the CG Emblem Frames which are arguably pretty cool is very unsavory to look at, stories are uninspired, and it's all just plain boring. I myself couldn't finish, but a friend had informed me on what the rest of the anime looks like... and the finale is just a random mecha parody that involves the main character of the original Galaxy Angel anime, Milfeulle.
I really don't got no desire to finish Rune. But the opening theme is ridiculously catchy, and the episode where the original Angel Troupe makes their appearance is pretty good despite them all getting sidetracked with their own issues before they could go to meet their successors (which is arguably the most in-character thing they could have picked for our OGs)
I wouldn't bother watching unless you're desperate to finish everything.
