I waited. I waited. I waited. Then, remarkably, I waited some more. Things got harder when I watched the first episode and simply loved that stuff. Then, Galaxy Angel Rune (or GAR, although it doesn't fit) gets subbed. I downloaded everything immediately. I didn't wait-I want everything at once. It was no lie I was excited. The character design was attractive to death, so I was curious to see what they'll create. Just how A Clockwork Orange is a damn cool name for a novel and I really want to read it. Then, I sat and watched it. It took me some time. Stupid school read more

The original Galaxy Angel anime atleast tried to be funny. The Broccoli-based manga for both the original and Rune had capable shounen leads.

But I guess it's the new saying: "Nobody's going to come to someone else's party if there's no reason to." At least Strike Witches and Sekirei had fanservice AND SPOKE IN ENGLISH.

Galaxy Angel fans beware! This thing is terrible. The humor here is considerably more coarse than anything previously listed under the GA name, and is executed so poorly that I simply couldn't laugh. I managed to sit through most of the first episode with a (painfully) forced smile, but I couldn't take any more. Pick any previous season to rewatch and it will seem far more fresh and exciting than this one.

As a massive Galaxy Angel fan, I gotta say, Galaxy Angel Rune didn't work for me and I am kinda dissapointed. The humor I loved is very different from the original Galaxy Angel series, stories were forgettable, characters as well. There just wasn't anything special about it. The whole anime just didn't really work for me.

Stories are basically a slice of life, like in the original series - nothing surprising here. But like I said, they were forgettable and bland. However, I appreciate that there were episodes featuring characters from original Galaxy Angel. And not just that! One episode even featured Dejiko from Di Gi read more
