for something so short, it manages to leave you uplifted about life and the small things it brings in our everyday. kurita's style of drawing is extremely pleasing to look at and the way the sweet and simple story is told through imagery makes it all more compelling. it's a slice of life so don't expect much action or adventure, just a girl learning about how much brighter life can be. within the short amount of space, i would say the characters were developed enough to feel intriguing and real; responding to each other and developing a friendship like one would experience in real life. all in all, a very pleasant read especially for a oneshot :)
