Story - 5
The plot is based in Tanjiro Kamado, a 16-year-old boy, the protagonist of the anime. A smart, kind and hard-working boy who used to live happily with his mother and 7 siblings, earning money by selling coal, just like his late father. However, one day when he returned home, he found that his family had been attacked by demons and the only survivor of the attack was his younger sister, nezuko, who had become a demon, but surprisingly she still showed signs of emotions and human thoughts. With the event, tanjiro decides to become a demon slayer and protect people from this happening to them, while he seeks a way to make nezuko human again.
Animation - 9
I have nothing to complain about the demon slayer animation, it's something really fantastic, one of the reasons why the anime is so famous, ufotable really took care of it.
Soundtrack - 8
I think the soundtrack matches the atmosphere of the anime a lot, it gives a suspense that matches the characters and setting of the anime. you can feel the scene, it's something really incredible.
Charachters - 4
Demon slayer characters are rather bland and characterless. Tanjiro is a typical shonen protagonist, persistent and friendly. nezuko is just cute, nothing more special. Inosuke is loud and obnoxious who just fights and tries to work things out the hard way. zenitsu is annoying, he keeps screaming the whole anime. Tomioka is a cold character and helped tanjiro with his sister, protecting them. And Shinobu, I actually like her background history, but it would be a more interesting character if she wasn't undervalued, being weak compared to the other pillars.
Overall - 6
After all I think demon slayer is a fine anime, but not as good as the fans say. Like, it was a very hyped anime so everyone started talking about it and they thought it was the perfect anime, but it's not all that they say.
