Avanturistic show about 2 teenagers traveling trough a ruined dystopian world.

The highlight of the show is the relationship between our duo which is quite wholesome and funny. They might be in their late teens but they act like adults, having been roughed up by the world around them and having many tragic situations. On their journey they come across many people and trough them we learn more about the world around them.

The world is mostly messed up, well actually it is very messed up, which is expected since the world is in ruins and civilization collapsed. Everyone tries to get by, mostly by crime and abusing others.

Pretty much every character has a bad or evil side. Sometimes our duo helps or gets helped by someone, and you think how nice that is only for it to turn out quite bad or not that nice. I'm thinking the recurrent theme is that every good in this show has a terrible, messed up side to it, so far every character or situation showcased it. The only shinning light is our duo, but even that wholesome relationship is heavily heavily disturbed later on by the 3d party with **trigger warning** sexual abuse.

Oh and there are mysterious man-eaters, which are monsters that, well, eat humans.
There is a separate story line, aside from our traveling duo, that explores the history of the society collapse and how man-eaters came to be. It's a bit dull at the beginning but it becomes a bit more interesting later on, only to fall short towards the end with a bit of magic mumbo jumbo. **Trigger warning** there's a suicide somewhere around here, buuuut from the direction this mumbo jumbo scifi stuff is going it might end up somewhere else, to be seen in the next season.

All in all a good show where the relationship between our duo shines, even though the world events might kick you down, especially with the last episode leaving a terrible taste.
