Story: Good 7. (*v*) kyu!
There's no way for me to best describe it's story if I don't use an oxymoron, which I describe as "confusingly entertaining." Sure, the synopsis states that it is about the 3 siblings who's sister died and suddenly was miraculously revived because of some random penguin hat which is placed on her head and it doesn't end there, she becomes somebody else who acts like a some primadonna princess who orders the brothers to go look for a so-called "Penguin Drum." Now, how confusing is that? But, what makes the story entertaining is not about the characters, rather it is the mystery and the psychological genre that revolves around the story.

Ridicules as it may seem, I think an additional "ART" genre should be added, this is the only anime were I gave a 7 for it's art. The way it looks is that the art of this anime adds to the psycho-logic.
Sound: Good 7. (*v*) kyu!
Ok, if you're talking about the opening and closing themes, I just like them, especially the "Survival Strategy" Himari's theme part.
Characters: Good 7. (*v*) kyu!
It is fairly obvious that the main characters are the main attractions of this anime, however, there are other characters whom despite of just being regulated as support roles did provide a profound influence to this anime's overall make up like Masako Natsuma, Tokikago Yuri, Momoko Oginome,Sanetoshi Watase, Mario Natsume and Sahei Natsume. As of now, it is established that Kanba is actually Masako's brother, that Himari is not related to either Kanba or Shouma and it is possible that Shouma could be Himari's penguin drum, as for Kanba it maybe also possible that he could be Masako's solution to help their other brother Mario to be himself and not be their hated grandfather Sahei. FYI there are a few more episodes to go ( I may have said that already).
As for the penguins.........they're more like the comic relief or you could say that they are the comedy genre of this anime.
Enjoyment and overall: Good 7. (*v*) kyu!
First of all, I don't have any plans to go through the manga the moment this anime ends, co'z one confusingly entertaining thing is enough for me. Ok, so for one to enjoy this anime, one must look beyond as what is shown ( I think I've said that already), this is definitely not for someone with a shallow perception, I think what makes it interesting is that author's use of metaphors that revolves around the mystery and psychological genre side of this anime, that keeps one from making any conclusions until the last episode is shown, however it maybe possible that the last episode could lead us hanging.... I hope not.
PS: I know that this (*v*) doesn't look like a penguin , but hey! It's the closes that I come up with, since the BBCode is disabled and besides there's no rule that you can't put it to add art to my review. Kyu!
