The good:
Due to the characters being complete simpletons it makes the manga an easy read. The content feels so light despite the extreme violence which makes this story great for binge reading. And I must admit, the gore is oddly captivating. Due to the absurdity of the characters actions (in combination with their age) makes the viewing of the horrendous crimes that they all commit, mildly enjoyable.
The bad:
After binge reading 72 chapters of this crap I can with confidence say that all it is is Torture Porn. The author overuses rape for shock value, and forgoes character depth, making the end product bland despite the grotesque violence and gore. I saw other reviews put it well, this manga isn't gory its edgy. Considering how much violence happens throughout the pages it is impressive how little it makes the reader care. The characters are nothing but cardboard cutouts with little thought given to their beliefs and motivations. The MC's 'romantic' relationship is half assed and honestly unnecessary.
The ugly: **** Here on SPOILERS + ranting****
The amount of suspending disbelief I had to do to take this manga seriously is astounding, from 12y/o psychopaths that murder his family, to a 16y/o working multiple jobs starting from gang leader to managing a prostitution agency (i'm not even mentioning the girlfriend in the basement) all while being a great student. But I must admit, I got a laugh out of it from how stupid the plot and the characters are. None of the characters are likable except for the MC's grandad who's the GOAT of this manga. The MC himself isn’t necessarily unlikable but neither is he likable, he is just there to be the readers POV. And the POV is: 5 kids planned out and murdered your parents but you got this cool ass secret military grandaddy who teaches you all the epic super scary torture stuff and you have to give up your sanity blah blah blah, and then you beat up the bad guys, get bitches, and be super dooper cool.....
This manga is stupid, which unfortunately makes it not that bad. Except for the unnecessary rape ofc. The bullies have NO reasoning for their actions, they are just pure evil that is there for the main cool guy to beat up. And its not like there needs to be an excuse for what they do but they at least have an internal belief system for why they are beating up this ONE kid.
In conclusion, this manga would not be worth the read if the comments under it weren’t as funny as they were.
