Mixed Feelings
A generic anime. I really tried to get into it. But with the amount of shounen anime I've seen - Demon Slayer has honestly have to be one of my bottom choices. To clarify, it isn't absolutely atrocious in terms of quality. Realistically, it'd serve around a 5. But with my personal taste...I'd say a 3.

I really love the traditional Japan era we get, along with the general aesthetics and arts of the anime. But the story itself is loosely built around the structure of the antagonists primarily, instead of it being an equal spread across each point in the story. The writing is weak, and it feels so repetitive. Protagonist shows up, he is a pacifist mostly, he tries to convince the demon that it isn't too late to change, then bam - the demon starts dying, and there's that dramatic retelling of their life story so that the audience is supposed to garner sympathy towards them. It's like someone dragged out the trope and literally just started explaining it to you VERY literally. And that's very annoying to hear it repeating over and over again.

I hate Nezuko and Zenitsu as well. And the protagonist. He feels too 2-dimensional, there's no sense of fear that resides within him. Nor does it feel like he has any faults in terms of personality. He's just the literal ball of the default 'shounen protagonist.' With Zenitsu, he is a terribly annoying crybaby - and your perv character. ...It is painful to watch ANY of his scenes. The fact that the author believes his actions are 'funny' is sad. Man has OP powers when he sleeps, and the way their powers work isn't explained --- even when Demon Slayer is now on its third? Or fourth season. With original storylines for shounen worldbuilding and power explanation, HunterXHunter 2011 is a solid version to look at.

Finally, with Nezuko...I really tried to like her. I saw some clips, thought she was cute...until I realized that's literally all she does. Every scene with her is either Nezuko acting 'cute' or Nezuko obliterating someone to bits. Like...it really feels like she is just there for decoration. And Tanjiro's own additional factor to his personal individuality - when Nezuko should be serving one on her own.
